India retains its 2nd spot in ICC rankings

Indians white washed number one ICC team Australians after 24 years by beating them in Vishakhapatnam in the three match series in which 1st and 3rd ODI of the series has been cancelled out due to inclement weather and poor ground conditions. By this victory Indians has taken their points tally to 117 thus retaining the second spot in ICC ODI rankings. Though Australians has lost two points they have still on top ODI team with 130 points.

Mr. Cricket replaces Dhoni as ICC ODI top batsman

Australian Mr. Cricket Michael Hussey has reached the top ICC ODI ranking by ousting Indian opening batsman Gautam Gambhir from the prestigious position. Hussey has scored a match winning 40 score out of 46 balls against Pakistan in fifth ODI, which helped Australia to white-wash Pakistan 5-0.

India reached second position in ICC ODI rankings

After beating Sri Lankans in the tri-series finals on Monday to lift the Compaq Cup, they have bye-passed Australians to reach the No.2 spot in the ICC ODI rankings. Earlier they were enjoying No.1 spot after they beat New Zealand convincingly. But their huge defeat against Sri Lankan pushed them in to third spot.

Dhoni’s team eyeing to become top ODI team in Sri Lankan tri-series

Dhoni’s team is in very firm position to grab the top slot in ICC ODI listing. Indian team has gone to second position by taking 126 points. By that, Australians have moved to third position. Only South Africans are ahead of Indians with just a point difference.

Dhoni and Yuvraj tops the ICC ranking for ODI

Indian captain tops the ICC ranking for One day international batsman with 828 points with his deputy Yuvraj Singh is breathing down his neck in the second position with 784 points. Australian batsman Mike Hussey is occupying third position with 767 points.
