After Twenty20 world cup to be played in England, the cricket lovers’ eye will be on World Cup 2011 that will be hosted by Indian, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Bangladesh is all set to host world cup cricket’s opening ceremony for the first time in history.
>>Originally the 2011 World Cup to have been hosted by Pakistan, but in the wake of the 2009 attack, on the International Cricket Council, the Srilankan national cricket team, the Capital of the Pakistani Province of Punjab were forced to strip Pakistan of its hosting rights. The headquarters of the organizing committee shifted from Lahore to Mumbai.
